Saturday happenings

Yesterday we went to Bob's Red Mill for breakfast. After we ate, Kane grabbed a basket and got shopping! Then we went to cousin Becketts soccer game, followed by date night in the evening for mommy and daddy and friends, while Kane got some play time with Nana. 

Fun day! 

Lion King

Kane has a favorite book these days, The Lion King. Everyday he gets it off his shelf and brings it to Daddy to read, even when Mommy tries to hide if behind other books! It's hard to stay focused for such a long book so Daddy summarizes and adds songs for extra interest. Here they are.

Super Kane!

Super Kane is finally big enough to wear his super cute cape/onesie that his Nana made him! He also got to pick a pumpkin from her garden this weekend. 

Pumpkin Patch 2015

Last Sunday we took Kane to the pumpkin patch!  We met up with Kane's cousin's and the boys had a blast! Kane liked the slide, children's haymaze and pumpkin donuts the best, and he was very unsure about riding the barrel train with Mommy.

Baby Marshall

Kane and I got to visit little cousin Marshall at home yesterday. He sure is cute but Kane did not know what to think of the little guy!

Dinner

Last night we had dinner at Kane's Great Grandparents' house. We've never seen Kane eat so much food. Apparently he loves lasagna!!

Papa's visit

Papa is in town from Florida for a few weeks. Last weekend we met him for dinner, went to the Portland Nursery Apple Festival and did some cooking!

Kane didn't look too excited about the festival but he loved the fresh squeezed apple cider!

He's back!

After nearly 2 weeks of various sicknesses and ailments, our boy is finally getting back to his usual happy self! Cheers to no more ear infections, colds, cuts or rashes! Happy Kane bug :)
